Anna Subedi

Biography

Hungarian Soprano

Award-winning Hungarian soprano, Anna Subedi, began her musical education at the age of four with piano. She went on to earn degrees in piano and harpsichord, before graduating as a classical singer from the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest in 2018. Continuing her studies, she participated in the Erasmus+ Scholarship Program at the Brussels Royal Conservatory.

 

Anna has performed in some of the most prominent concert halls, churches, and festivals throughout Hungary, as well as in Belgium and France. In 2021, she was awarded the Grand Prize at the Cadenza Contest International Competition. Anna regularly participates in contemporary projects with composers and performs in classical music festivals, such as the Budapest Spring Festival, Ars Sacra Festival, and Budapest Bach Week. She also enjoys giving chamber music and song recitals.

2014

Bachelor's Degree In Harpsichord

Anna completed her Bachelor`s degree in harpsichord from Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest, under the guidance of Borbala Dobozy.

2016

Bachelor's Degree In Classical Singing

Anna completed her bachelor’s degree in classical singing from Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest under the guidance of renowned soprano Ingrid Kertesi.

2018

Master's Degree In Classical Singing

Anna continued her studies in classical singing, competing her master`s degree in classical singing once again from the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest.

2019

Erasmus+ and Campus Mundi Programs

Anna participated in the Erasmus mobility study program, studying under the guidance of Valerie Guillorit at the Brussels Royal Conservatory.

2020

Doctor of Liberal Arts

In September 2020, Anna began her doctoral studies at he Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest and is researching about the charismatic female composer, Maria Malibran.

2021

Grand Prize Winner

In 2021, Anna participated in the prestigious Cadenza Contest International Competition and was awarded as the winner of the Grand Prize.

2023

Platinum Prize, Virtuosic Performance Special Prize Winner

Beethoven International Music Competition. Anna received the Platinum Prize and Special Prize for Virtuosic Performance in 2023.

Opera Gala Concert with Janos Kovács

Gödöllő Symphonic Orchestra, House Of Arts, Gödöllő. Excerpts from operas by Ferenc Erkel, Mozart, Puccini and Verdi were performed.

Master And Student Concert With Prof. Ingrid Kertesi

Broadcasted by Hungarian National TV, featuring Szent István Philharmony led by Gergely Ménesi conductor. Anna shared the stage with her teacher singing songs and opera excerpts by Debussy, Frescobaldi, Delibes, Donizetti, Bellini, and more.

Concert in the Premontrei Auditorium

Vivaldi’s In furore iustissime irae was performed with the Gödöllő String Orchestra led by Juniki Spartacus. Award-winning violinist Ágnes Langer was the other soloist at the concert.
